Coastal placer ores are determined by airborne gamma-spectrum anomalies of thorium nature. The values of surface gamma intensity or airborne gamma intensity converted to surface level after necessary adjustments are the base for setting the limit of placer ore bodies and mapping out areas  contaminated by radioactive elements of different levels.
