Tectono-structural characteristics and distribution of local anomalies in Cenozoic sedimentary formations in the Southeast continental shelf of Việt Nam based on gravitational data

In this paper, the tectono-structrural characteristics and distribution of local gravitational anomalies in the Southeast Việt Nam continental shelf region have been studied by using a reasonable system of gravity methods. One of main results of this work is that, a lot of different geophysic and geologic data have been comprehensively analyzed and carried out in detail by quantitative calculation in the 2-D and 3-D variants. They show that Cenozoic formations comprise a system of local anomaly blocks of different dimensions and densely distributed in the studied regions. Their depth is about 2-8 km. The destructive system in these formations has complicated developing direction with the well expressed Meridian 109 fault zone. These results show that the reasonableness of the used study methods.
