Finding deeply distributed ferrous ores at Cao Bằng by geophysic methods

At present, the prospection of deeply distributed ferrous ores has not any way except geophysic methods. Recently, geologists of the Geophysic Division have been using the methods: 1) magnetic measurement along itineraries and fixed lines; 2) gravitational and electromagnetic measurement, and induced polarization sounding in these lines; 3) ditch digging and drilling for control. The group of these methods has been helping to find a subsurface deposit consisting mainly of magnetit.
