For the first time Devonian limestone was found in the Kon Tum Province. It includes 2 beds of dolomitic limestone and 2 beds of black-gray limestone with the total thickness of 92 m, lying in the upper part of a formation, which rests unconformably upon granodiorite of Silurian age. The author proposes to establish a new formation: the C­ Brei one of Early-Middle (?) Devonian age basing on the coral Squameofavosites aff. spongiosus Dubat. found in limestone.
