Some estimations on the industrial mineral wollastonite from the Kông Chro area, Gia Lai Province

The member of marble and calciphyre belonging to the PreCambrian high-grade metamorphic rocks distributed in the Kông Chro area has a thickness of up to 300 m, extending up to 4 km, contains wollastonite in interbeds, lenses and nests of different dimensions. This ore has the mineral composition of diopside, wollastonite, calcite, quartz and sphene. Results of preliminary investigation have been allowing geologists to delimitate areas of good prospect, needing to be surveyed and explored in the time to come.
