Application of geophysical methods in the survey on geohazards

Geohazards consist of natural phenomena having different causes and forms; they are widespread in the North Trung Bộ region, causing great damages to the community. In the survey on geohazards, we can apply geophysical methods for determining geophysical parameters of geological factors causing geohazards, such as underground karstic caves, strong crushed and weathered zones, thickness of loose cover, factors related to structural and tectonic faults and other related geophysical fields, from this to set forth effective precautionary measures.
