Resources of mineral water in the North Trung Bộ region and prospect of their use
for socio-economic purposes

The North Trung Bộ region possesses a complex geological structure and strong tectonic fault activities, creating many premises for the formation of mineral water sources. At present, 32 mineral water sources of different features and scale have been discovered, among them 7 sources were explored and are being exploited. Basing on characteristics, scale and experiences from explored sources, the article presents the prospect of using mineral water sources for socio-economic purposes of the region.
