Seismic activity in the East Việt Nam Sea region

The epicentral distribution of earthquakes, seismic activity and maximum expected earthquakes in the East Việt Nam Sea are considered for the 1919-2001 period. The maps of distribution of the seismicity parameter A₁₀ and maximum energy of expected earthquakes K_max in the East Việt Nam Sea were compiled. The values of A₁₀ oscillate in the range of 0.3-10 and the values of K_max oscillate in the interval of 12-19.
