This report represents main results of the project “The research for the creation of geochemical atlas of some elements in surface sediments in the sea of Việt Nam (0-100 m water depth)”; Code. TNMT.06.28. Based on the analysis results of 8,914 geochemical samples from projects and schemes implemented by the Marine Natural Resources - Environment Survey Center, the authors gave the overview of the distribution characteristic and changing irend in content of the element titanium in various sediment fields by specific area, which stretches from Móng Cái to Hà Tiên in Việt Nam marine, from 0-100 m water depth. Ti is high in concentration (7,000-10,0000 ppm) and distfibutied in estuaries and bays in sediments of sand, muddy-sand and muddy-sand-gravel, 0-30 m depth of water (Binh Định - Bình Thuận coastal strip). Other areas don’t have Ti abundant in concentration and distribution, especially from 60-100 m water depth. These results are also important geochemical signs for exploration of coasial placers in Việt Nam.
