The paper presents analysis results of integrated impacts of climate change and modem tectonics in research on forecast and prevention of natural hazards in the coastal zone of central Việt Nam. Based on cognitive maps, natural hazards could be divided into three groups: natural hazards caused by characteristics of modem tectonics and neotectonics; natural hazards caused by impacts of climate change; and natural hazards caused by integrated impacts of geo-hazards caused by characteristics of modem tectonics and hazards caused by climate change. The authors have confirmed the existence of hazards caused by impacts of geo-hazards of modem tectonics and neotectonics integrated with environmental hazards of climate change in the coastal zone of Central Vietnam. Those hazards include: instability of the estuaries affected by integrated impacts of modem geo-fault structure in the coastal zone and climate change in Thuận An (Thừa Thiên - Huê), Cửa Đại (Quảng Nam), Đà Răng (Phú Yên) estuaries; integrated impacts of terrain lifting caused by modem tectonics and sea level rising caused by climate change which lead to flooding and coastal erosion in Thừa Thiên - Huê, Tuy Ḥa, Phú Yên, etc.; shifting of currents and estuaries caused by impacts of change in hydrological and oceanographical regimes integrated with activities of geo-fault structure in Thuận An estuary (Thừa Thiên - Huê), Đà Răng estuary (Phú Yên), etc.
