Detailed survey results shown that gold mineralization
in Ya Hội area which formed during Late Paleozoic-Early Mesozoic stage and helping
to do clearly the potential of gold mineralization in Kon Turn metallogenic and
tectonic zone. Type of gold mineralization is quartz-sulfide formation which including 2 types of mineralization:
gold-quartz-pyrite and quartz-gold-polymetallic sulfide. They are under the
control of tectonic fracture zones which mainly extends
to the northeast - southwest strike. Most of gold ore bodies like vein net,
pocket chain, uncontinuous in strike, thickness of 0.2 to 1.0 m and length of
100-280 m, dip angle is near vertical; Au content varies strongly, major
content is 1.0 to 5.0 g/t. Natural resource reserves of (334a + 334b) grade is
316.4 kg of gold (of which grade of 334a is 173.5 kg). Besides major gold
mineral, this area also has fluorite and radiative mineral (Uranium nature)
which related to hydrothermal alteration of rock beside quartz-sulfide vein,
this type needs to continue to research clearly. Thus, it may discover
additional gold mineralization, fluorite, radiation
zones... in neighborhood sheet groups.
