Geodynamics, according to the currently popular concepts, is the science about the processes of formation and development of our Planet as well as the acting forces which occur in the evolution of the Earth, its spheres and segments. Modern geodynamic science is a new one resulting from the combination of the Tectonic and Geophysical sciences. The main subjects of the geodynamic investigations of Lithosphere are to discover and to clarify the characteristics of endogenous processes, the rule of their material, structural, force field and energy manifestation, in the formation and evolution history of the Lithosphere and its components in the cause-effect relationship with the geodynamic processes of other spheres and the planet Earth as a whole.

The East Việt Nam Sea is a complicated structural-geodynamic complex and is a special model of the modern West Pacific marginal sea system. The geodynamic study carried out in this region is composed the following main subjects: 1/ Geodynamics of rifting and basin formation processes; 2/ Geodynamics of convergence and orogenic processes; 3/ Geodynamics of magmatic processes; 4/ Modern geodynamics; 5/ History of geodynamic evolution; 6/ geodynamic zoning. Compilation of geodynamic maps is an important way to present the results of all the above subjects.

The paper focuses on the presenting the results of geodynamic studies in the East Việt Nam Sea region as well as the maps compiled and sets forth a selective principled model for integrated geodynamic map of Vietnam sea.
