Some impacts of the climate change on mineral activities
and proposed remedial measures

Việt Nam is a country with large and diverse mineral resources. The climate change accompanied by sea level rise affect greatly the mineral resources, especially those in the coastal zone. Mining processes in turn increase the impacts of the climate change on the environment. This is a big challenge to mineral operators, in the mean time this is also an opportunity for applying advanced science and technology in mineral activities in Việt Nam.
