Researching and designing a columnar well rig replacing the three-legs well rig in the XY-1 driller

In the drilling work in geological and mineral exploration, the stability of the driller during the process of draw and release of the drilling stem is very important, because it has great influence to the drilling pace, declination of borehole and quality of sampling. For solving this problem, the Centre for Research and Transfer of Geology-Mineral Technology has been designing a columnar well rig for replacing three-legs well rig in the XY-1 driller. The use of the columnar well rig in the XY-1 driller not only keeps the driller more stable, but also makes the assembly of well rig more simple and convenient. Especially, the columnar well rig can incline in accordance to the driller head.
