The map of gravity anomaly of Việt Nam (Mainland part) at
1:500,000 scale (year 2011) has been edited on the basis of: updating data of
gravity measurement collected to day; increasing the average density of
observation points to 30.08 km2/points, corresponding to 12,579
points of gravity measurement on 330,000 km2 at the 1:500,000 scale.
The establishment of this map was realized by a unified system in Việt Nam:
reference system, VN2000 coordinate system, national gravity system linked with
the new international gravity system and the technology of informatization by
the Mapinfo.table software. Data are managed by a modern GIS system, easy for
accessing, searching and extracting. The map of gravity anomaly of Việt Nam
(Mainland part) at 1:500,000 scale will be published;
this is a map of Fai and Bouguer anomalies with the density of the middle bed
of 2.67 and 2.58 g/cm3, with the equivalent section of 5 mGal and
errors of Bouguer anomaly determination of ±1.15 mGal.
