Establishing the experimental regression equation for calculating the porosity
of water-bearing sediments in the Mekong Plain.

Porosity is one of important hydrogeological parameters characterizing the aquyfer. It can be determined by experimental methods in the field. The equation of Archie Law can be applied for establishing relationship between formation factor F and porosity Φ. Then experimental regression equation is established for Mekong Plain area for calculation of porosity of aquyfer rocks. This is useful approach method which is applied widely in the world.
