The efficiency of the VN-IP01 continuous
receiver by induced polarization time domain instrument in the exploration of
metal minerals

In order to more effectively exploration of
metal minerals as well as in geologic mapping, the authors have studied and
inproved from the SuperSting R8/IP to continuous receiver by induced
polarization time domain instrument of Data Logger devices. There are series of
basically control systems such as: designing configuration of receiver;
commutating the signal and operating control; designing electrical entrance;
designing software and simultaneous measurement; technical processes and data
analysis. There proved to be more effective for measurements the (VN-IP01)
continuous receiver than the SuperSting R8/IP followings: the (VN-IP01)
continuous receiver operated stable measurement procedures; noise reduction and
isolated from the useful signal; the resistivity parameters are completely the
same for two equipments; the induced polarization is different of these
instruments, particularly the ore deposit; the correlation coefficient of
induced polarization is related to the parameters of these equipments; the
energy spectrum of the induced polarization is always higher the VN-IP01
receiver than the its SuperSting IP/R8. Therefore, the studied and inproved
from the SuperSting R8/IP to the continuous receiver are capable efficiency to
solve geological and mineral exploration by induced polarization time domain
instrument. The results of measured data analysis of the VN-IP01 receiver are
higher resolution, polarization anomalies and more accurately geological
layouts.
