Diatom assemblage characteristics in Holocene sediments of LKTH₂ Borehole in Thanh Hóa coastal area

Diatom assemblage characteristics in the LKTH₂ borehole of Holocence sediments contributed to clarify the Holocene environmental change during the Flandrian transgression. Diatom assemblage including 14 species identified in the LKTH₂ borehole divided into 6 Diatom zones from bottom to top, from Dia 2 to Dia 6 was formed in Holocene. In which Dia 2, Dia 3 and Dia 5 zones, the Diatom fossils are common specific to different ecological environments. The forming environment is explained through the results of dividing 6 diatom zones corresponding to 6 sediment sets. The Frandian transgression and regression period in the Thanh Hóa coastal are the sediment sets 2 and 5, respectively.
