PRODUCE MULTI-ELECTRODE RESISTIVITY METER

Abstract: Electrical survey technique is a geophysical method, used to determine the resistivity distribution of subsurface materials by measuring soil resistivity. Nowadays, there are much in demand for the multi - electrode resistivity method because of its advantage: many applications, fast surveying, high resolution and high-quality images of section. However, the domestic instruments are easily broken and have heavy cables while imported ones are very expensive and repairing them is a big problem. Therefore, we have studied to create the automated electrode switching system and re-design electrical resistivity meter that can be connected to the automated electrode switching system in order to become the new multi - electrode electrical resistivity meter. After testing on different geological structures, the results received by our instrument in are good and reliable.
