Abstract: Kon Rá ore field is about 5 km2 in the research area,
extending along the north northeast - south southwest fault system. According to the initial data, it can be
inferred that copper and uranium ore mineralizations are distributed in crushed
zones which are developed widely and related to northern northeast-southern
southwest over-thrust fault. The results of gamma spectrometry showed that
uranium content meets industrial standards. Copper and uranium ore
mineralizations are the two products that fill in the holes among brecciated
zone created as a result of tectonic activities, while some minerals are
roundly sharpen. It shows that the process of hydrothermal mineralizing happens
later than brecciation process. Therefore, it can be concluded that
hydrothermal copper-uranium deposits exist in brecciation zones of Kon Rá ore
field.
